Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Baseball Pathfinder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Baseball Pathfinder provides digital tools, resources, and AI-powered features for youth baseball coaches, players, and families. This includes but is not limited to player evaluation tools, draft boards, practice planning resources, player development guides, and parent communication tools.

The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing on Baseball Pathfinder constitutes professional coaching advice, medical advice, or any other form of licensed professional guidance.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update this information as necessary.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Baseball Pathfinder offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe.

Billing. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Baseball Pathfinder to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Free Trial. New subscribers may receive a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Refunds. If you cancel your subscription within 7 days of a charge, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your billing period. Refund requests must be submitted to info@baseballpathfinder.com within the 7-day window. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued for the current billing period. Annual subscriptions are refunded on a pro-rated basis for full months remaining.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its content without written permission
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own internal business use

6. AI-Generated Content

Baseball Pathfinder uses artificial intelligence to generate content including practice plans, player development recommendations, draft analysis, and parent communications. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any AI-generated content. Baseball Pathfinder makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Baseball Pathfinder. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

Content you create using the Service — such as draft boards, player evaluations, and practice plans — remains yours. You grant Baseball Pathfinder a limited license to store and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Baseball Pathfinder does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baseball Pathfinder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
